Nominated for Home Studio of the year

It’s The Voiceover Network’s 7th birthday today, and part of their celebrations they are presenting awards to Voiceovers to celebrate the community. I am proud to say I have been nominated for two awards this evening, including Master of Marketing and Best Home Studio. It’s fantastic to be recognised in this way, particularly for the standard of my home studio, a broadcast quality voiceover studio based in my home village in Surrey.

When the pandemic hit, I had already been working from my home studio for the previous 4 years. My mostly corporate clients all trusted the quality of my studio for my voiceover work on their brand films, explainer videos and corporate internal videos. But when I worked for my commercial and promo clients it would always be from a high end studio in London. When the lockdowns started I had some promos come in for the BBC who had historically never worked with voiceovers from a home studio. I was worried about working with them from my studio but thankfully I was told the quality was just as good, if not better than their own studio! I then went on to do promos for BBC & ITV, commercials for major brands like McDonalds, as well my wonderful corporate voiceover work. I am very proud of my little studio and would like to thank The Voiceover Network for their support and recognition.

The Voiceover Network was a key component to my early success as a voiceover artist. They offer coaching, networking and support and I would highly recommend joining to anyone who is looking to learn about the industry. You can find their website here.

If you’re searching for a British Female Voiceover with a home studio, with a neutral accent and a friendly, conversational style, please email me at hello@allymurphy.co.uk and I would love to help you connect your customers to your brand.
